Our Fees

Registration

You are encouraged to register early to ensure a space in a class.  Class sizes are limited to provide a quality education.  Your space is reserved with completed registration form, registration fee, and first month tuition.  We reserve the right to cancel any class with five or less students enrolled.  Students in classes with insufficient enrollment will be offered other class choices or given a refund.  Please allow 2-3 weeks for refunds to be processed.

Registration Fee 

There is a $20.00 non-refundable fee for each new student and a $10.00 for each returning student enrolling in the 2010-2011 season. 

Tuition 

Tuition is due the first of each  month, and is considered late after the 10^th.  Class fees are to be paid monthly by check, automatic withdraw, or cash (cash allowed only if someone is in office to issue a receipt for cash payment).  

All checks should be payable to The Arts Center.  

Tuition may be mailed or dropped off in the office pay box.  Please choose your method of payment on the registration form.  The Arts Center School of Music and Dance runs on a nine month academic year.   Classes run September through May. Fees are based on a calendar year, and therefore some months may have more or fewer classes. There are no deductions for shorter months.

We offer multiple class discounts and family discounts.

Private Lessons are excluded from multiple and family discounts.

Tuition Discounts:  10% discount if entire years tuition is paid in full by August 1^stand 5% discount if entire years tuition is paid in full by September 1^st .

Multiple Class and Family Discount:

If you are taking multiple classes or more than one family member are taking classes, please use the multiple class and family discount chart.  Combine the total number of minutes of combined class time to determine your monthly fee.

Late Fees 

If tuition is not received by the 10^th of the month, a $10.00 late fee will be applied.

Returned Checks

A service fee of $30.00 will be charged to all returned checks.

Withdrawals and Refunds   

Withdrawals must be done in person at The Arts Center office, not over the phone.  To withdraw, a parent or adult student must complete and sign a withdrawal form provided by The Arts Center Office. 

Costume fees

Costumes for the spring dance recital will be ordered in December to ensure proper arrival for our May recital.   Costume fees are due by December 1, 2011.  Costumes for student’s ages 3-8 are $45.00 per costume and students ages 9 & up are $65.00 per costume. Performance Dance Company costumes will run between $65.00-$85.00 per costume.  If you are enrolled in a combination class (Ballet/Tap or Ballet/Tap/Jazz),you will purchase a costume for each subject.
