Dance Attire

Students must wear appropriate dancewear to every class.  No street-wear is allowed.  Please be sure to have hair secured away from the face.

Dance attire may be ordered at the studio.

Early Childhood Dance Programs Ages 1½ -6 years old

• First Steps:   Ages 1½-3 years old

          No dance attire needed.  Just wear comfortable clothes and barefeet.

• Creative Movement:  Ages 3-4

          Girls - Any color leotard and tights;  Shoes - pink ballet slipper

          Boys – Black Pants and white t-shirt;  Shoes - black ballet slippers

• Pre-ballet / Tap Combinations Class:  Ages 5-6

          Any color leotard and pink tights. 

          Shoes:  Ballet -  pink ballet slipper             

                      Tap – U Shell Tap Dark Tan

• Boys on the Move Agese 5-6

         Attire: Black Pants and white t-shirt with black ballet slipper or barefeet

Classic Dance Programs Ages 7-Adult

• Ballet/Tap Ages Ages 7-8 

         Any color leotard and pink tights. 

         Shoes:  Ballet -  pink ballet slipper

                     Tap – U shell tap dark tan

• Boys on the Move Agese 7-8

         Attire: Black Pants and white t-shirt with black ballet slipper or barefeet  

• Hip-HopAges 7-8

         Attire: Leotard and jazz pant

         Shoes:  Split Sole Canvas Grey #981

• Ballet/Tap/Jazz Combination Class  Ages 9-10      

         Any Solid Color Leotard, tights and or jazz pant /shorts are permitted

         Shoes:  Jazz - Dark Tan Slip on Jazz Boot

                    Tap – Capezio Tapster 442 - Black or Bloch SOL388- Black

                    Ballet - Pink Ballet Slipper

• Boys on the Move Ages 9-10

         Attire: Black Pants and white t-shirt with black ballet slipper or barefeet

• Hip-HopAges 9-10

         Attire: Leotard and jazz pant

         Shoes:  Split Sole Canvas Grey #981

• Ballet/Tap/Jazz Combination Class Ages 11-12

         Any Solid Color Leotard, tights and or jazz pant /shorts are permitted

• Boys on the Move Ages 11-12

         Attire: Black Pants and white t-shirt with black ballet slipper or barefeet

• Hip-Hop Ages 11-12

         Attire: Leotard and jazz pant

         Shoes:  Black and White Canvas “Converse” type shoe (any brand)

• Ballet/Tap/Jazz Combination Class Ages 13-18       

          Any Solid Color Leotard, tights and or jazz pant /shorts are permitted

          Shoes:  Jazz - Capezio CG15- Suntan

                      Tap – Capezio Tapster 442 - Black or Bloch SOL388- Black

                      Ballet - Capezio 205C - Pink or Capezio CG2002 - Pink 

• Hip-Hop Ages 13 & up

         Leotard and jazz pant

         Shoes:   Shoes:  Black and White Canvas “Converse” type shoe (any brand)

       Boys All Dance Classes: 

       White t-shirt and solid color black pants and appropriate shoe for class

Performance Company Dance Program Ages 6-18

• Primary Performance Company Ages 6-9

          Any solid colored leotard and pink or tan tights    

          Shoes:  Ballet/Lyrical Shoes:  Capezio 205C Youth - Pink

                      Jazz Shoes:  Capezio CG15 – Suntan

                      Tap Shoes:  Leos 5026- Tan    

• Junior Performance Company Ages 10-13       

          Ballet /Lyrical Attire:  Black leotard and pink tights

          Jazz/Tap Attire:   Leotard, tights and or jazz pant /shorts are permitted; tan jazz boot         

          Shoes:  Ballet- Pink Ballet Slipper

                      Lyrical – Nude colored dance paws

                      Jazz – To be determined at a later date.

                     Tap – Bloch SO388L - Black                                          

• Senior Performance Company Ages 14-18      

          Ballet /Lyrical Attire:  Black leotard and pink tights

          Jazz/Tap Attire:   Leotard, tights and or jazz pant /shorts are permitted; tan jazz boot         

          Shoes:  Ballet - Pink Ballet Slipper

                      Pointe – To be fitted at a later time 

                      Lyrical – Nude colored dance paws

                      Jazz – To be determined at a later date.

                      Tap – Bloch SO388L - Black

         Boys All Dance Classes: 

         White t-shirt and solid color black pants and appropriate shoe for class
